Signal watch
In a July 15, 2026 interview with Ukrainian tech outlet dev.ua, FLEXUS co-founder Semen Kozyura said the studio was preparing a playable Dear Passengers demo for the Gamescom 2026 show floor (Cologne, August 2026), and that a public demo would come after the event. This is a developer statement made to media, not a first-party store listing, so we label it reported rather than confirmed.
The distinction matters: a convention-only build does not mean anyone can download Dear Passengers today. Until the Steam store page exposes a demo button or FLEXUS publishes public access details, the public demo stays not announced. We surface the Gamescom signal because hiding it would be less honest than labeling it, and we will upgrade it to confirmed the moment a public build goes live. Checked August 6, 2026.
Evidence rules
We mark a public demo as confirmed only when FLEXUS publishes availability details or Steam exposes an official download button. A trailer, creator preview, convention booth, or Discord rumor does not automatically mean a public Steam build exists.
This distinction protects players from fake download pages. When a real build appears, download it through Steam or another channel linked by FLEXUS—never through an unofficial executable mirror.
When access opens
We will record platform, start and end times, region limits, and the official link.
The page will document installation, known access errors, and whether progress carries into release.
Player count, controls, performance, roles, and beginner tips will be updated from direct play.
